Los 30 años del disco negro de Metallica vienen con todo, el cuarteto de thrash metal anunció una reedición de lujo y un disco tributo con artistas de distintos géneros. Pero veamos todo por partes.
Primero, la edición especial del álbum negro verá la luz como box set el próximo 10 de septiembre, uno de los discos más vendidos desde 1991 hasta la fecha, con grandes éxitos como Enter The Sandman, The Unforgiven, Sad But True, Nothing Else Matters y más.
Esta edición traerá dos LP's de vinil, tres discos en vivo, 14 CD's con remixes, demos, entrevistas y cortes en vivo, 6 DVD's con los videos oficiales, presentaciones en vivo, tomas detrás del escenario, libro de 120 páginas, disco fotográfico, cuatro litografías de conciertos, plumillas de guitarra, folder con letras de canciones, tarjeta de descarga digital y más.
Punto y aparte, pero como parte de las celebraciones, saldrá un tributo a dicha producción, donde todo lo recaudado por ventas será donado a diferentes asociaciones altruistas, elegidas por cada artista, además de la organización de Metallica: All Within My Hands Fundation.
Estas nuevas versiones serán recopiladas en cuatro discos, donde no podríamos tener a artistas más alejados al estilo clásico de los cuatro jinetes, encabezan nombres conocidos como Miley Cirus, Juanes, Mon Laferte, Weezer, Ghost, el Instituto Mexicano del Sonido, OFF!, IDLES, Royal Blood, Corey Taylor, St. Vincent, Rodrigo & Gabriela, Volbeat, The Hu, The Warning, The Chats y muchos más.
Una curaduría muy ecléctica y polémica que obedece a artistas que han compartido escenario con Metallica, nuevos actos o que han crecido con la música del cuarteto, sin importar géneros musicales pues van más de acuerdo a las asociaciones que recaudan fondos.
